Bali Bhuana Villas Review: Location and Accessibility
Located near Lipah Beach, Bali Bhuana Villas is well-placed for exploring Amed’s beautiful snorkeling spots like Jemeluk Beach and Japanese Bay. Getting there is easy by scooter or car, and there’s plenty of parking. Situated on a hill, the villas offer a lush, spacious environment.
Room Quality and Comfort
Our room at Bali Bhuana Villas was a real treat. It was clean and spacious, featuring a large bed complete with a mosquito net, and a small desk with a wooden chair (not the best for long work sessions, but it does have a mirror for makeup). The water gallon in the room was a thoughtful touch, saving us the hassle of buying water. The bathroom was lovely, with hot water and decorative stones that created a relaxing ambiance. The highlight, though, was the outdoor terrace. It’s a perfect spot to sit back, enjoy the stars, or just take in the ocean views. The gardens around add to the charm, making our stay very comfortable.
Value for Money and Facilities
We felt we got our money’s worth, paying around 30-35 euros a night, especially as we visited during the low season in February. The pool area with its ocean views is fantastic, and while there’s no gym or spa, the pool more than makes up for it. The breakfast area offers a basic but decent selection of Indonesian dishes, though we’d recommend exploring local restaurants for more variety.
Dining and Service
The breakfast at Bali Bhuana Villas is adequate, serving standard fare like nasi goreng and eggs. For dining out, there are great options nearby. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ensuring our comfort and even letting us bring our dog.
Safety, Security, and Connectivity
Wi-Fi was a bit spotty in our room but worked well enough for streaming. We always felt safe and secure during our stay, with no issues to speak of.
Nearby Attractions
Bali Bhuana Villas is ideally located for exploring local attractions. Lipah Beach is perfect for swimming and snorkeling, and it’s family-friendly. There are great restaurants nearby, and snorkeling sites like Jemeluk Beach and the Japanese Shipwreck are just a short drive away. Don’t miss Tulamben for snorkeling, and the Lahangang Sweet, which offers stunning views of Mount Agung. It’s an adventure getting there on a scooter, but totally worth it.
Bali Bhuana Villas Review: Conclusion
Every stay at the Bali Bhuana Villas has been a joy and we hope you liked this review. The value for money is fantastic, with the spacious, clean rooms and breathtaking views being major highlights. While the food is just okay, the overall experience more than makes up for it. We love it here and would recommend Bali Bhuana Villas to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Amed.
