Sant Tirta Resort provides a peaceful retreat from the hustle of daily life. The friendly staff and cozy resorts made our stay delightful. We loved how each villa overlooks the overview greens! Also, we love that we can bring our dog Mila to Sang Tirta Resort, where she has plenty of space to roam freely. It’s one of the main reasons we keep coming back!
Location and Accessibility
Located in Penebel, Bali, Sang Tirta Resort is a nature lover’s paradise. Surrounded by forests and rice terraces, it’s a bit remote but perfect for those seeking tranquility away from bustling tourist spots. The resort is within a reasonable distance from famous sites like Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, Yeh Hoo waterfall & Babahan Crystal Water making it a great base for exploring Bali’s natural beauty. Sang Tirta Resort is available to reach by scooter or car ride although the road getting tinier.
Room Quality and Comfort
Sang Tirta Resort comprises 7 rooms. Interestingly, with its 7 rooms, it not only offers a peaceful retreat but also ensures privacy for its guests. Featuring private entrances, seating areas, and terraces with garden views. Consequently, this layout is ideal for those seeking a quiet and personal experience, surrounded by nature. Our favorite room was the one near the Restaurant, great overview, a huge room with a bath up and a working desk. No air conditioning as the weather temperatures are colder than in the south of Bali.
Value for Money and Facilities
We found the pricing to be very reasonable, especially considering the size of the room and the nature. Guests have access to facilities like an on-site restaurant, open areas, and an outdoor seating area. Although it’s a bit remote, the resort compensates with its peaceful environment and natural beauty.
Dining and Service
The resort’s family-friendly restaurant serves a variety of meals, including lunch and dinner although they might want to know in advance. While some guests have found the food choices to be somewhat limited, the staff’s friendliness and willingness to accommodate make up for it. The serene setting of the dining area complements the overall dining experience.
Although there was one new restaurant nearby, but it was often closed, probably due to the low season since we visited in November. If you’re craving different food options, your best bet is to drive to the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces area, where you can find more choices.
Safety, Security, and Connectivity
Sang Tirta Resort is a secure and safe destination for travelers. However, it’s important to note that its remote location can affect WiFi connectivity, especially during rainy weather. This makes it an ideal spot for those looking to disconnect and immerse themselves in nature, but might be a concern for those needing consistent internet access.

Jatiluwih Rice Terraces
Whenever we were at Sang Tirta Resort we always went to Jatiluwih Rice Terraces. Just a short drive away is the famous Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We enjoyed exploring Jatiluwih’s green terraces with affordable fees 15,000 IDR for locals and 40,000 IDR for foreigners.
Babahan Crystal Water
Known for its stunning lazy river, Bali offers this serene spot that has captured our hearts. This lazy river over more than just a natural wonder; it’s a place that holds special memories for us. Yeh Hoo Waterfall
Yeh Hoo Waterfall, a short distance from Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, is a must-visit for its easy access and lush surroundings. It’s ideal for nature lovers, offering a scenic, short walk in greenery.
