Our paradise home base in Bali is the vibrant city of Canggu. There’s always something new to explore here. We like to go on weekend trips and explore even more of this beautiful island! With so many things available for us to see without any prior planning required, there’s no better place than sunny Bali for spontaneous Saturday morning adventures Join our weekend trip to Ubud and Taro Village and get inspired :)
Lukas and I love to make the most of our mornings! On a nice day, what better way than exploring new sights? We’re so lucky that with technology it’s easy for us to take off – no matter where we want to go. Finding a place that’s pet friendly is also very easy with Airbnb, it makes Airbnb an ideal choice since they’ve made their pet filter incredibly simple to use. Let’s get going!
1. Ubud
Ubud’s stunning location in Bali makes it the ideal place to start your weekend trip. The area is both close by and breathtakingly beautiful. With its many attractions framed against a backdrop of lush rice paddies, there’s so much for travelers to enjoy! Afterwards, its just a short drive to the Taro Village where you can stay the next night.
Where to Stay in Ubud
After much searching for a pet-friendly place to stay with an amazing view, we finally found the perfect spot – Padi Shack on Airbnb. It has all that we need for our night away and is within easy walking distance of Kedai D’sawah, where you can experience yummy local cuisine while admiring incredible views!
What to do in Ubud?
We’re exploring Ubud and looking for a perfect place to walk with Mila, away from the hustle and bustle. Guess what? We found the most scenic spot – Kajeng Rice Field! Oh, and we kicked off our adventure on a full stomach after enjoying a delish breakfast at Kafe, where our furry friend was welcomed too. Let the fun begin!
Feeling stuffed and satisfied, we’re all set for an amazing 7-minute jaunt to the splendid Kanjeng Rice Fields! Kajeng Rice Field is a unique and picturesque rice terrace located in Bali, Indonesia. The rice field is not only a beautiful place to visit, but it is also a window into traditional Balinese culture and history.
If you find yourself in Ubud, don’t miss this delightful stroll – even Mila was all smiles! Discover more about our unforgettable Kajeng Rice Fields escapade right here! 🌾😃
2. Taro Village
So, guess what? We stumbled upon this charming Taro village in Bali to spend the night on our weekend trip. It is not too far from Ubud or Canggu, and you know what’s even better? We found this gem called “A Little Paradise” to pamper ourselves in North Ubud! Picture this – no bustling shops nearby, just pure tranquility, and room service for all your munchie needs. We couldn’t resist just chilling and soaking in the joy of the moment (and that tempting bathtub!). Oh, what an adventure!
What to do In Taro Village?
If you look at the map of Mason Elephant Park & Lodge that located very close to the accommodation. We didn’t go there since we’re not into elephant riding, but remember: anytime we’re traveling or trying new things, always put respect first and photo ops second! 📸🌏🐘
Conclusion
Escaping the Bali bustle is a breeze! Picture yourself zipping around the island on a scooter, taking in the jaw-dropping scenery and vibrant local villages.
